The ManUp Network Privacy Policy and Terms of Use

The ManUp Network, LLC, values the privacy of our community's members and guests to the network's sites www.themanupnetwork.com, www.manupandhunt.com, and www.manupandfish.com.  These sites and services collectively make up The ManUp Network.  This document is a legal contract between an individual guest, member, or robot accessing these services (herein referred to as a User) and The ManUp Network.  The following governs the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for information and services.

BEFORE USING ANY SITE IN THE MANUP NETWORK, CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING PRIVACY POLICY AND TERMS OF USE.  BY ACCESSING ANY SITE IN THE NETWORK, ACTIVELY CONTRIBUTING, OR ACCESSING A WEB SERVICE, YOU ARE ACKNOWLEDGING THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND GUIDELINES OUTLINED IN THE MANUP NETWORK PRIVACY POLICY AND TERMS OF USE.  IF YOU DISAGREE WITH ANY OF THE TERMS OR GUIDELINES, DISCONTINUE THE USE OF THE MANUP NETWORK'S SITES AND SERVICES.

Access and Accessibility

The ManUp Network grants you access to browse the network's sites with the limitations and restrictions set forth in this Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.  As a user of The ManUp Network's services, you are permitted to (i) use the service for your own personal use that does not infringe on the viewing experience of other users; (ii) you do not download, reproduce, resell, or redistribute the network's digital assets; (iii) you do not alter or modify any part of the site by hacking form inputs or any purpose un-intended for; (iv) you use the site at your own risk and are responsible for complying with your current country and state's law.

The ManUp Network Contributed Digital Assets

Information that is shared with The ManUp Network is considered to be shared, open, and available to all members and visitors of the network.  However, personal identification and sensitive information such as billing and address details will not be disclosed to any individuals not requiring a business need.  The ManUp Network uses various form inputs to collect shared information on, but not limited to, Recipes, Brags, Classified Ads, Forum Posts, Images, and Comments.  We also use electronically commuted data that may be traced without the user's direct permission such as Geographical location, usage statistics, etc.  This information is readily available from web browsers' header data that navigate to the network.  We use this information in a variety of ways.  Primarily, the information is used to track site analytics, but also to provide the user a personalized experience to their viewing location and interests.  The ManUp Network reserves the right to disclose any information to affiliated sites to provide analytics and other business usage patterns and statistics.

Content Disclaimer

Users that visit the site are subject to content that is third-party and user generated, and may expose the user to content that is offensive, vulgar, or simply objectionable.  The ManUp Network does not endorse any content or opinions that are not generated by The ManUp Network staff.  WITH AGREEEMENT TO THIS DOCUMENT, YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THE INFORMATION SHOWN AND CONTRIBUTED TO THE SITE IS MADE PUBLICALLY AVAILABLE BY OTHER USERS WHICH MAY CONTAIN OFFENSIVE MATERIAL.  THE MANUP NETWORK CANNOT GUARANTEE THE MATERIAL WITH RESPECT TO WHAT IS SHARED AND IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DIGITAL ASSETS SHARED ON THE SITE.  Prohibited content includes (i) any image or content that is deemed unlawful, pornographic, obscene, vulgar, threatening, racially or ethnically offensive, reasonable objectionable, violate someone's privacy, harmful for minors in any manner, or otherwise inappropriate; (ii) any content that slanders The ManUp Network's sites or services, or any affiliate's products or services; (iii) advertisements or solicitations of businesses, products, or services.  As a user of the network's sites and services, you are entirely responsible for the electronic material that is uploaded to the sites.  THE MANUP NETWORK DOES NOT CONTROL THE CONTENT POSTED BY USERS AND IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO MONITOR UPLOADED MATERIAL.  YOU AGREE THAT YOU MUST EVAULATE AND BEAR ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH VIEWING USER CONTRIBUTED CONTENT ON THE SITES, INCLUDING ANY RELIANCE ON THE ACCURACY, LEGALITY, USEFULNESS, AND OFFENSIVENESS OF THE CONTENT.  Users in the system can self-govern the community by reporting users that have contributed content that violates any terms for sharing digital assets on the site.  These claims will be handled by The ManUp Network support team in a prompt fashion and the user may be banned from using the network's sites or services.

Personal Profile

By becoming a member in The ManUp Network, the user is entitled to create, update, and delete their own personal information and preferences at any time.  Registering for a new account requires a unique username and password for the system.   For privacy and security, we verify the user's e-mail address while creating a new account and for password reset inquiries.  The information stored in the personal profile, such as address information, is used primarily to build a unique experience for the user by showing advertisements, weather, and details for their geographical region.  The information that a user shares with the community is accessible to anyone that visits the site, members or guests.  Personal profiles' contributions are grouped and visible by navigating to the sites Search Members page and browsing for a unique user.  Registered users are accepting this agreement with consent to this document and are that they are at least 13 years of age.  The ManUp Network will never knowingly accept user registrations or contributions from users under the age of 13.

Data Transmissions and Security

Any data that is transmitted across the wire to the internet is susceptible to hacking attacks and hijack attempts.  However, once the data is received by The ManUp Network we use the best software practices in keeping your data secure in our system.   Although the information that we store per user is not financially disruptive, we will notify all users in the event that our systems undergo a security breach. 

Changes to the Privacy

This document may be updated at any time and is publically available for reference in the footer sections of any networked site, Policy and Terms of Use.  We encourage that you periodically review this document for changes and restrictions that may be implemented throughout the community's evolution.  By viewing this site as a member or as a guest, you are agreeing to the most recent version of this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
